They’re great listeners, too.

Mental Health Coaching

Coaching sessions are led by our Perinatal Behavioral Health Coaches to provide quick & effective support to help you feel better during pregnancy & postpartum.

  • A Perinatal Behavioral Health Coach is a professional that supports parents through emotional challenges in pregnancy and postpartum.

Our Perinatal Behavioral Health coaches offering virtual Mental Health Coaching sessions specialize in perinatal mental health and have extensive experience supporting parents through emotional challenges including overwhelm, PTSD, loss, birth trauma, NICU stays, adjustment to parenthood, relationships, identify struggles, guilt, shame, and the transition back to work.

  • A coach focuses on current issues, and how to move forward to feel better. They do not diagnose or provide any medical advice. FamilyWell coaches are trained in cognitive behavioral coaching techniques to get you feeling better quickly.

A therapist focuses on unpacking your past experiences, relationships, and challenges to help put the pieces together to navigate your current situation. Therapists can diagnose.

  • If your OB referred you to FamilyWell, ask them if our services are covered by your insurance. Copays may apply.

If your OB provider isn’t a FamilyWell partner (yet!), you can get quick access to support through our Mental Health Coaching packages.
