Meet Julie Paul DNP, PMH-C

Julie Paul is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner & Head of FamilyWell’s Psychiatry Services.

With over a decade of clinical experience treating pregnant and postpartum individuals with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, combined with her expertise as a certified nurse midwife, Julie will provide you with a holistic and empathetic approach to your mental well-being. She is licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and accepts self-paying and in-network clients.

Julie is also a mom of two and a survivor of postpartum depression and anxiety. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs and paddle boarding in the local lakes.

A plan to feel better.

Your care will include a comprehensive review of your psychiatric history, an individualized treatment plan, supportive therapy, and medication management for pregnancy and up to 2 years postpartum.

Compassionate & holistic care.

You’ll also receive holistic options for your mental health and wellbeing, including nutraceuticals, botanicals, diet, lifestyle modifications, & mindfulness techniques. Every recommendation is tailored to you.

    We offer a free 15-minute consultation with the psychiatric provider who will be providing your care so that you have a chance to ask questions and better understand what to expect from our services before booking any sessions.

  • You are eligible for medication management and mental health support from our psychiatric providers during preconception, pregnancy, and up to 2 years postpartum.

  • Yes! All sessions are done virtually via our secure tele-health platform to make it as easy, accessible and convenient for you to receive support.

  • We are licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and accept self-paying clients as well as the following insurances: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (Massachusetts), CIGNA, Oscar, Oxford, Point32 (Tufts and Harvard Pilgrim plans), and UnitedHealthCare. NH Point32.

  • Your credit card information is needed when requesting or scheduling an appointment to hold your appointment time. You are NOT charged until your session is complete.

    Please note, if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, notification must be received at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged in full for your session.
